City of Durango’s schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

Durango, CO: The following is the City’s schedule for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 16:

City administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday including City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and substation, Santa Rita administration building, Greenmount Cemetery and Parks & Recreation administrative offices. 
 

The Durango-La Plata County Airport will be open as normal with regularly scheduled commercial service Monday, Jan. 16.  The airport administration office will be closed.  Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport at least 90-minutes prior to your scheduled departure.

 

Recreation Center, and Chapman Hill will all be open with regular hours. 

Durango Public Library will be closed Monday, Jan. 16. 
 

Commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will be Tuesday through Saturday, one day later than your regular day with no service Monday, Jan. 16.  The Recycle Center will be closed. 

 

Durango Transit will operate on Monday, Jan. 16.  The Transit Center and the cashier window will be closed.
 

Parking meters are FREE downtown Monday, Jan. 16.
