[ARCHIVED] City Implements New Holiday Trash/Recycling Pick Up Schedule

The City of Durango will implement a new holiday trash and recycling collection schedule in 2021. Commercial and residential pick up on holiday weeks will be staggered out one day. This schedule will start with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday on Monday, Jan. 18. 

On weeks with holidays falling on Mondays, collection will take place Tuesday through Saturday. If your regular collection day is Monday, pick up will be on Tuesday. If your regular collection day is Tuesday, pick up will be Wednesday, etc.

Pick up:  June 1-5

Mon, Sept. 6, 2021

Pick up:  Sept. 7-11

Commercial Pick up:  Dec. 24

Christmas Holiday

Pick up: Dec. 28-Dec 31

(Thursday and Friday normal collection will be on Friday)
