Parks and Recreation News Release image

Chapman Hill Rink will open for roller skating and inline skating Friday, June 26 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. with Roller Disco Night, featuring greatest hits from the disco era. The Saturday Night Light Show starts Saturday, June 27 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. with music from all decades and a colored light show featuring Chapman Hill’s new and improved disco lighting!

Chapman Hill is now taking reservations for birthday parties on Saturdays. Two-hour time blocks are available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $100 for up to 20 participants. Admission and skates are included. For more information or to book a party, call (970) 375-7395.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, guests are required to wear a mask while entering and exiting, and within the facility. Skaters may remove masks while skating if they are able to maintain the six-foot social distancing requirement. Skaters are asked to obey all safety signs inside of Chapman Hill Rink. Per state requirements, the maximum capacity of the facility is 50 skaters. If the facility is at full capacity, guests may need to wait outside for entry. Drinking fountains are closed; skaters should their own bring water bottles. Concessions are open.

Summer schedules are posted online at DurangoGov.org/ChapmanHill. For more information, contact Chapman Hill staff at (970) 375-7395.
